Today I was reading in my devotional book (Diamonds in the Dust by Joni Eareckson Tada) about Heaven and it got me thinking about my desire or for that matter, no desire for Heaven. When I think about eternity with Christ where I wont have to worry about sin, or pain, or anything that hurts me and others here on earth, I get excited and ready for my homecoming. But often, I get caught up in what I want from this life before He takes me. I, like many before me, have made a list of what I want to accomplish or do before I die, and sometimes I think this list has made me want to stay on earth more than be with God in Heaven. I was reminded today that my ultimate goal is to glorify God in all that I do, and even though that maybe getting to do some of the things on my list, it may also mean dying in the next ten minutes. I think the point that Joni was trying to make is that our life should be lived with the Kingdom in mind, all our actions and thoughts should be for His glorification, whether it be getting married and having children, or going skydiving and traveling the world to taste tea. So starting today I'm going to enjoy this life on earth and take part in the pleasures God has given to us for our enjoyment, but it will always be for Him and not myself.

It's been awhile...let's start fresh! :)
It's been over year since my last post, and as my blog is so called, I really am Busy as a bee! ;)
But I want to start fresh and really try and use this to update you all on what's happening.
This is my last summer as a senior! WOW! I can't believe that really, I can't fathom that in one year I will be graduated and looking to start my life. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me.
One thing I plan to do this summer is read books on growing in my walk with Christ, if I put my mind to it I know I can read a little bit each night, and hopefully give some ways that I learned from it.
I'm excited to start this new chapter of my life and really excited to see how God uses it for His glory! Well, here's to new beginnings! :)

My first post!
Well, this is my second day on my second semester of my second year here at the Master's College! So far all of my classes I think I will enjoy, Intro to Music and Art has a lot of work, and so does my World History 2 class, but I do think I will enjoy them all!
I think the class I am most excited about is Principles of Personal Bible Study! It is an all girl class that Betty Price is teaching. We will be focusing on 1 Peter, and how to practically apply the Bible to our lives, and how to come away with a better understanding of how to not only personally study the Bible, but others study it as well.
Most of you know who I am, but for those who stumble on this blog and don't, here is a brief testimony of my life.
I was raised in a Christian home and was, by the grace of God, saved at the age of four. My one life goal is to glorify God in all that I do, whether that be in brushing my teeth or studying His Word. I daily struggle with my flesh, but strive to rely on His strength and not my own to overcome my sin. I have hope though, in the saving Grace of my Lord, He not only died for my sins, but raised from the dead to conquer death! And because of this hope I am able to live a joyful life walking with Christ.
Now for the boring part! I am a nineteen year old college Sophmore at The Master's College in Santa Clarita, California. I live in the wonderful dorm of Sweazy (Upper West!) and have a lovely roommate! my major is Bible General, and I hope to use to further my knowledge in God's Word for my life.
I am very close to my family and am so thankful they are all believers who strive to honor God. My mom and dad live in the dry dry land of Quartz Hill, California! I am so blessed that I only live an hour from my home! I can go home on weekends to visit and get laundry done for free! :) I have one sister Gillian who lives with her husband, John and three little boys Owen, Asher, and Knox in Castiac, California. We all attend Grace Community church in Sun Valley. I love being an Auntie and have come to find that they really teach me about patience and unconditional love like my Father has for me!
Some of my hobbies are: Reading, Writing, Singing, scrapbooking, playing piano, being an Auntie, playing game cube, Nancy Drew games, playing board games with my family, spending time with my two best friends Mellisa and Jen, having wonderful friends, learning, star gazing, and watching Jane Austen and Cranford with my mom!
Well, I hope this blog can give a little bit more info on me and my busy life! I will try and write as much as I can, but it will just depend on my time this semester!
