Today I was reading in my devotional book (Diamonds in the Dust by Joni Eareckson Tada) about Heaven and it got me thinking about my desire or for that matter, no desire for Heaven. When I think about eternity with Christ where I wont have to worry about sin, or pain, or anything that hurts me and others here on earth, I get excited and ready for my homecoming. But often, I get caught up in what I want from this life before He takes me. I, like many before me, have made a list of what I want to accomplish or do before I die, and sometimes I think this list has made me want to stay on earth more than be with God in Heaven. I was reminded today that my ultimate goal is to glorify God in all that I do, and even though that maybe getting to do some of the things on my list, it may also mean dying in the next ten minutes. I think the point that Joni was trying to make is that our life should be lived with the Kingdom in mind, all our actions and thoughts should be for His glorification, whether it be getting married and having children, or going skydiving and traveling the world to taste tea. So starting today I'm going to enjoy this life on earth and take part in the pleasures God has given to us for our enjoyment, but it will always be for Him and not myself.

It's been awhile...let's start fresh! :)
It's been over year since my last post, and as my blog is so called, I really am Busy as a bee! ;)
But I want to start fresh and really try and use this to update you all on what's happening.
This is my last summer as a senior! WOW! I can't believe that really, I can't fathom that in one year I will be graduated and looking to start my life. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me.
One thing I plan to do this summer is read books on growing in my walk with Christ, if I put my mind to it I know I can read a little bit each night, and hopefully give some ways that I learned from it.
I'm excited to start this new chapter of my life and really excited to see how God uses it for His glory! Well, here's to new beginnings! :)
